Google has announced the availability of Google One as a storage upgrade option for people in the United States. The option will become available in other countries within the next few weeks. Users with paid Google Drive storage plans automatically were upgraded to Google One in the past few months, noted Pavni Diwanji, VP of Google One. Google One plans begin at $1.99 for 100 GB.

AI plays a big role in Android 9, the latest version of Google's mobile OS. Amazon has added a new option to its Amazon Key service for Prime members: in-car delivery, which allows drivers to place packages inside a locked trunk or elsewhere in a car that is parked in a publicly accessible area. The Amazon Key In-Car delivery service is available at no extra charge to millions of Amazon Prime members who drive certain cars.

Nearly half of all the small businesses that participated in a recent survey said they handled their application development in house, in part to cut costs and speed time to deployment. Forty-six percent used in-house staff to develop critical applications in an effort to drive new business. Forty-one percent used freelancers or consultants to develop apps.
